Of course the music was my favorite and the laser efects where really at the class of theyr own.
That concert triggered me to ponder about my life with music. The music that most of my friends haven't really liked. Though they have tolereted it, but my friends have really left me on my own with my music. Don't take this wrong, I do like wide variety of music, but for example Jarre is absolutely in its own class. Class that is quite dificult to define. There are also artits like Vangelis and Oldfield that I categorise among the top. I mention only these 3 because these have been longest there to influence my life. To look at the long history of synth-pop there are so meny bands. Still the reality is that just there 3 have been the most influentic for me, and in this case that's just what counts.
As far as I can rememmber I have been very curious about music made with synthesizers. Any time that I heard some electronic music I was very curious about it. Unfortunately I never got any real clue to any artist or even the title of the music. Some kind of breaking point was in 1981 when friends of my sister got recently published album of ELO. That album was titled as Time. I really liked that album, and I still like to listen that album. But some how it wasn't quite that what I have seeked. So my search for "my music" continued. It was somewhat confusing, I did like wide variety of music, list hits and classical and popmusic and so on, but the thing somehow just wasn't there for me.
The true breaking point came some years later. I was studying at tradechool when one friend recorded a c-casette for me. On that casette was the album Equinoxe. That was truly the breaking point for me. For the first time I was able to say that I have music that truly like. Also now I had the most importatnt info of what to seek further.
